  • The Chat.

  • WebTV Users :

    • The Chat, as well as most java based interactive webpages, will most likely not work on your WebTV set. This is due to limits in the WebTV receiver - WebTV is meant as a television enchacement and not a full fledged internet browser.

  • If you cant start it :

    • The Chat on this site uses Java Script. This means that a Java Applet is downloaded to your computer when you access the Chat, this is how most chat rooms work. So you have to have Java Script enabled for it to work. This is the normal setting on most computers but some may have set their computer to turn off Java Script. If it is turned off you will not be able to chat.

    To change your settings in Internet Explorer :

    Start Internet Explorer, choose Tools and then Internet Options. Choose the tab Security, choose Custom Level, find the option Microsoft VM and under Java permissions select Medium Saftety. Also find the option Scripting and make sure Scripting of Java Applets is set to Enable

    The Chat Room is opened through a pop-up window which must be open while you chat, if you close it the chat will log off. This is done so that you can still browse the site in your browser.

    If you are using Norton Internet Security and are blocking "Referrer" then you will not be able to access the Chat. To enable the Chat when using Norton Internet Security start Norton Internet Security and allow Referrer to be sent. This only applies to Norton Internet Security 2000 - 2002

  • There's no one there :

    • Sometimes there will not be anyone logged in - just hang around for a minute and someone usually shows up. There is nothing wrong with your chat.

  • It just shut down :

    • The Chat is opened through a small pop-up window that must remain open during your chat. If you close the little window the chat will automatically log off.

  • The Forum.

  • If you cant log in :

    • The forum requires you to log in to be able to read and post messages, if you can't log in please make sure you have spelled your username and password correctly and that you are trying to log on to the correct forum.
    Each website has a unique forum - so the username and password that you use at, for example, the Shemaleyum.com forum will not work on another website's forum.

    Also make sure that you are trying to log on to the forum through the website you are a member off, if you have hotlinked directly into the forum from a bookmark you will run into problems.

    If you can't log in and you are absolutely sure you have spelled your username correctly your username may have been disabled - this will only happen if you have misbehaved badly in the forums, like password swapping and such.

    If you can't log in and you are getting a "Username or password incorrect" error message and you have tried everything described above you must register a new username/password.

    • DivX
      - These are high quality larger files which take longer to download.
      - DivX files can be played full screen.
      - Not as widespread as the other formats yet but by far the best.

    • DivX Problems
      - The DivX codecs we use to make the clips are the ones associated with the players below.
      - If you install other players/codecs you may not be able to view the DivX clips.
      - To fix simply remove any DivX player and install the one listed below.


    • Real Media
      - The most widespread internet videoclip format, these files are smaller and of lesser quality than DivX.

    Choose the tiny "Free RealOnePlayer" Option.

    After the download run the istallation program that installs the DivX or Real Player. The DivX videos can be watched using either the Real One Player, the DivX player or the Windows Media Player. The Real Media videos can only be played in the Real One Player.

    Windows Update :
    We also recommend you use the Windows Update feature if you are running Windows 98/Windows Me/Windows 2000/Windows XP to make sure you have the most updated version of your software and operating system. To run the updater look for the icon "Windows Update" on your start menu.

      Enabling "Referrer" will allow you to see the feeds.
